Premium Cigars for Super Bowl LIX

The teams are set. You've watched the ProBowl Games and are setting up your Super Bowl Party. You have your favorite snacks and drinks. You've even made a list and sent out invites. A typical NFL game is about three hours long, but this is the Super Bowl. You'll start early and probably stay late. This isn't the time to smoke premium cigar Coronas or Robustos. Sure, you could smoke cigarillos, but you better have plenty! You might even prefer a 6x60 or 7x70, but those become too distracting for such an event - we don't even recommend the Artista Exactus Colosso (even though it is an excellent premium cigar) for Super Sunday. We suggest your premium cigars for the Big Game be Churchills or Solomons.

Casa de Suenos El Sonador Solomon - Recently reviewed in the PCA trade journal, this is a wonderful medium-full bodied premium cigar. Made with all Dominican tobacco, it may last the entire game. It pairs very well with Guiness, but any stout beer or cigar Bourbon would work.

Drew Estate Isla del Sol Maduro Churchill - If you just gotta have a sweet cigar, nothing will beat the premium cigar we call Sugar Cane. A triple-Nicaraguan-leaf mix, infused with coffee, then wrapped in luscious maduro leaf that’s garnished with a sweetened cap. A shop favorite!

La Galera Maduro Presidente - From one of the premium cigar industry's most overlooked but important members, Jose "Jochy" Arnaldo Blanco, comes a medium-full bodied Dominican Churchill. This earthy smoke was awarded an 87 by CA! Pairs with nachos and any beer.

Oliva Serie V Maduro Churchill - Medium to Full bodied with a rich, and complex flavor. This premium cigar is unique and tasty. A Mexican wrapper, Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan fillers provide notes of cedar, cocoa, and anise. This hearty smoke was recently awarded a 90 by CA!
