We're down to the top two premium cigars in sales for last year! You already know that Bailey's customers enjoy a wide variety of premium cigars. We usually have at least one or two sweet/flavored cigars in the Top 10. This year we had three! If you haven't been following along, check out the first few Posts of this year.
JC Newman Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Toro
Julius Caeser has been one of our top selling premium cigars for the last few years! Made in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente, it features an Ecuadoran Wrapper and Dominican Binder. The Filler is a blend of tobaccos from the Dominican and Central America.
Diamond Crown was one of JC Newman's earliest premium cigar brands. It was re-launched in 1995 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the JC Newman Cigar Company. The Julius Caeser was released in 2010 to celebrate JC's 135th birthday and the company's 115th anniversary. Bailey's also carries the more full bodied Maximus (released in 2002).
AJ Fernandez New World Toro
The New World line of premium cigars debuted in August 2014. Bailey's best seller is a Nicaraguan puro with a dark oscuro wrapper, Jalapa-grown binder and fillers from Ometepe, Condega, and Estelí. The blend was developed by Abdel (AJ) Fernandez in collaboration with his father, Ismael, who joined his son’s company after spending 17 years with the Plasencia family.
This is the first time an AJ Fernandez cigar has made our best seller list! In addition to the Oscuro, we also carry the Connecticut, Cameroon, Nicaraguan Puro Especial, and Dorado from the New World line of premium cigars. We also carry the Last Call Habano and Maduro, as well as the Enclave. You'll even find an AJ Fernandez Montecristo and AJ Fernandez Romeo y Julieta in Bailey's humidor.
